Il y a des trésors sous la mer,
témoins silencieux de notre passé, outils abandonnés par les hommes qui ont
servi à leurs conquêtes et à leurs aventures. Tout un armada, parfois
mêmes des escadres entières, reposent au fond des océans. Depuis 100 ans avec
l'arrivée des coques en métal puis des avions, les épaves résistent
davantage aux actions du temps et permettent aux chercheurs et archéologues de
mieux les reconnaître et les retrouver. Certaines sont devenues des récifs
artificiels multicolores et refuge pour les poissons d'une grande
beauté.
C'est un univers passionnant pour le maquettiste. La recherche de
documents et photos sur un sujet est une première étape toute aussi motivante
que la finition du diorama. Ma première réalisation - l'épave
du Titanic en 1995 - fut le début d'une nouvelle ouverture sur les possibilités
du maquettisme historique... sous la mer...
Seul point non négligeable: les épaves évoluent avec le temps tel le B17
de Calvi dont le toit de la cabine s'est effondré depuis quelques
années.
They are treasures under the sea, silent witnesses to
our past, tools abandoned by the men who served in their achievements and
their adventures. Any an fleet, sometimes same wings whole, are based in the
ocean. Since 100 years with the arrival of clams of metal and then the

Its a world exciting for the modeler. The search for
documents and photos on a subject in a first step as motivating that finishing
the set. My first achievement - the wreck of the Titanic in 1995 - was the
beginning of a new openness on the possibilities of model making history...
under the sea. Only not insignificant point: the wrecks evolve with time
as the B17 of Calvi whose roof of the cabin has collapsed over the past few
years.
